Stitch, Lilo and Stitch’s adorable blue alien, has finally landed in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but it’s a bit of a wait to unlock it. Most of the new characters can be found in realms in the Dream Castle and are unlocked after a fairly short series of quests. But with Stitch you have to wait 10 real days before you can continue his quest after the first step.
If you haven’t recruited the newest villagers yet, here’s how to get Woody and Buzz to join you in the valley – they need to be in the village for this quest to spawn. With that in mind, let’s see how to get Stitch.
How to unlock Stitch
First, head to Dazzle Beach to get one slimy sock. It can usually be found near the un-unlocked Pillar of Power on the small island to the southeast of Dazzle Beach, so head there first. After that, go have a chat with Donald Duck, who will tell you to search his house. You will find a weird tracking device and he will tell you to come talk to him again in five days. That’s five real-world days. There’s no time to skip this one, folks – you’ll just literally have to do something else.
After five days, go to the Peaceful Meadow to get one chewed up sock. It should be near the rocks overlooking Dazzle Beach, but if it’s not there, just look for the shimmer above a pair of orange socks. You’ll need to talk to Goofy about that and then search his house for more clues – you’ll find some blue fur this time. Return to Donald running the fur through his strange device and then you have to wait another five days to find the next clue.

The last sock can be found in the Forest of Valor, in the area overlooking the Plaza. Once you get that sock, you’ll need to talk to Kristoff, Mickey, and Merlin, but you can just go straight to Merlin to continue the quest. Again, you need to search his house for clues and destroy the junk lying around. You will find one claw that you can use with the DNA device to analyze, then you can use the device as a homing beacon.
For this part, go to Skull Rock, near the small island where you found the first sock. Insert the homing device and a cutscene will activate, culminating in Stitch’s arrival on the island. You can then build him a house for 10,000 Star Coins and start working on his friendship levels.
