Nvidia will be showing off its latest pixel push products later today at CES. And you can see the whole thing streamed live above or on your old YouTube (opens in new tab) starting at 8 a.m. PST.
So that’s 9am MST, 10am CST, and 11am EST. Oh, and 4pm for anyone looking to watch from the UK. The official bumpf posted by Nvidia (opens in new tab) as the keynote does not go into details and talks about the “latest innovations enabled by accelerated computing and artificial intelligence”.
However, we expect at least a brief mention of the next one RTX 4070 Ti (opens in new tab), perhaps confirming the expected $799 price of the new board, plus details of mobile variants of Nvidia RTX 40-series GPUs. That probably includes RTX 4090, 4080 and 4070 mobile chips.
As we explained in our CES preview (opens in new tab), the RTX 4090 mobile will likely use the AD103 chip first seen in the desktop RTX 4080 16GB board. With 9,728 shaders and 112 render outputs, the AD103 has about 30% more hardware than the outgoing top Nvidia mobile GPU, the RTX 3080 Ti. Factor in higher clocks and overall gaming performance should be a substantial step forward.
Regardless, we will fine-tune and carefully analyze the presentation for details that deviate from these expectations. Watch this space. Or rather this space (opens in new tab).
