Susan Danis has resigned as general director and CEO of Florida Grand Opera after 11 years.
Priti Gandhi has left Portland Opera after just two years as Artistic Director.
She has been summarily replaced by Alfrelynn Roberts (pic) as Director of Artistic Planning and Operations. Roberts comes from Fort Worth Opera.
Portland Chamber Orchestra Israeli chief conductor Yaacov Bergman is in intensive care at Portland’s Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. He suffered a heart attack and is also undergoing cancer care.
