Taylor Swift clings to the top of the Official Singles Chart for a fifth consecutive week, Anti-Hero is once again the most-streamed song in the country, with over 5.2 million streams in the past seven days.

Now one of the longest running No. 1 hits this year, Anti-Hero joins the cast of Encanto with We Don’t Talk About Bruno (7 weeks at No. 1), LF SYSTEM’s Afraid To Feel (8 weeks) and the longest running number 1 of the year, Harry Styles’ As It Was (10 weeks) as the songs that have dominated the conversation in 2022.

In fact, Anti-Hero is the longest-running female No. 1 single since Olivia Rodrigo spent five weeks atop Good 4 U in Summer 2021.

Elsewhere in the Top 10 this week, Meghan Trainor’s comeback continues to steam ahead with full steam ahead as Made You Look once again peaks at No. 3. Will it challenge for the top spot in the coming weeks? If Made You Look continues its climb it could stand a chance at Christmas number 1, seeing all the contenders at Christmas number 1 2022 hoping to clinch the title.

Anne-Marie and Aitch are on the rise with PSYCHO returning to its previous peak of No. 6. North London rapper Clavish hits the big time this week with his breakthrough hit Rocket Science with D-Block Europe coming in at No. 9 and the highest newcomer of the week. It’s Clavish’s first UK Top 10 – and indeed Top 40 – and D-Block Europe’s second.

Bugzy Malone earns the highest-charting song of his career to date, as Out Of Nowhere featuring Sheffield rapper TeeDee jumps five to a new peak of No. 13. Dermot Kennedy today celebrates a second UK No. 1 album with Sonder, and the LP’s biggest hit, Kiss Me, has risen six to a new high of number 15.

Following Mariah Carey’s record-breaking return to the Official Charts last week, the singer is on the rise and bringing some Christmas classics with her! All I Want For Christmas Is You is this week’s big winner, a whopping eighteen place jump (18), while fellow No. 1 hits Wham!’s Last Christmas (23) and Ed Sheeran & Elton John’s Merry Christmas (40) re-enter the wider Top 40. Could they have a shot at this year’s coveted Christmas number 1?

Afrobeats legend Burna Boy jumps to four this week as he announces a history-making UK stadium show, taking Alone to a new best place (28).

It’s great news for Raye this week as the pop star returns to the Official Singles Chart Top 40 with Escapism at number 31. The song, a collaboration with American electronic artist 070 Shake, has recently gone viral on TikTok. It becomes Raye’s 10th Top 40 hit and her first as an independent artist.

Adding to the success of Respect The Come Up on the Official Albums Chart, Meekz’s collaboration with none other than Santan Dave himself, Fresh Out The Bank, is our latest new entry at No. 35, the first-ever Top 40 single for the Gorton M.C.

Finally, JVKE’s breakthrough hit Golden Hour is up four (36) and Eminem’s Mockingbird continues to reap the benefits of a viral second wind (37).
