The Stay a while quest in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is a side quest found in The Waking Shores. unlike Rapid Fire Plans (opens in new tab), you don’t have to move from where you pick up this quest to complete it. However, figuring out what to do – and the order in which to do tasks – can be a bit tricky.
Not to be confused with the “Hold on…” dialogue options commonly found with main characters to tie up any loose ends in storylines. This quest focuses on the NPC Veritistrasz and their own personal history with the Dragon Isles and its inhabitants. So, with that in mind, here’s how to complete the Stay a While quest in WoW: Dragonflight.
WoW Dragonflight: How to complete the Stay a While quest
You will find Veritistrasz close to the vanishing point at the Ruby Life Pools in the Waking Coasts. You can find them on the edge of the platform, near where you would have started dragon riding (opens in new tab) training during the main campaign.
The Stay a While quest asks you to sit down and look at the view, but using the /sit command does nothing and interacting with Veritistrasz doesn’t offer any options either. Instead, you should additional action button which appears when you pick up the quest. Doing so will cause your character to sit down and give you two options when you right click on Veritistrasz:
- “Sit down and look at the view”
Choose the first option, then after a short while, talk to Veritistrasz again to hear the first part of the story. Once they’re done talking, interact with them again and you’ll be presented with another option, and then another. Keep selecting the next first option until Veritistrasz gets to the end of their story. Once that’s done, use the “leave vehicle” button to get up and turn in the quest. Well done.
