Forgotten Grotto Relics is a world quest in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight that is now active after the weekly reset, and you may be wondering how to complete it. As with all world missions, the location is marked on the map, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to find. Fortunately, traveling around the Dragon Isles is made much easier with dragon riding (opens in new tab)so at least it shouldn’t be a problem to get there.
You have to look for a cave entrance, and even when you find it, the search seems to be bugged for some players. Here’s what you need to know about the WoW Forgotten Grotto Relics world quest.
How to complete the WoW Forgotten Grotto Relics quest
The Forgotten Grotto Relics world quest can be found in Thaldraszus, north of the dungeon of the Algeth’ar Academy. The entrance to the cave you are looking for is approx half way up the mountain and is quite small, making it difficult to spot. The screenshot above shows you the exact location on the map.
Once inside you will find relics you can collect piles and make dirt for you to search through. The goal is quite simple: once you have the progress barthe World Quest will automatically complete and you will be rewarded with 100 Dragonscale Reputation and a piece of equipment appropriate to your class.
If you can’t interact with the relics or if the mission progress bar doesn’t fill up, leave the area completely – so the world quest will no longer be recorded in your mission log – then come back and try again. It’s also worth noting that the relics disappear if another player clicks on them, so you’ll have to wait for them to reappear if the area is busy.
